Another Week of Observing Song Birds

Another Week of Observing Song Birds

As I finish up writing down the field notes for the Song Bird observation I come across the conclusion that  where I have been observing the birds no one has the near image to what or where the observations take place.

Where I observe the birds is just right out of my door. Walking out my door there are two pillars , leading to the door itself. On the left pillar is where I have my reserved spot for watching the gold finches and all the song birds that come to the feeder. Throughout the week where I spend 10 minutes of my mornings I have noticed that the temperature has dropped drastically and the wind is swinging the thistle bag back and fourth yet no birds have eaten all throughout the day. Until Thursday October 16th before I left for my trip to Oregon I decided to spend some time observing before I am gone for three days. That chilly morning I had no luck of seeing any birds , Song birds that is I did see sparrows and starlings but that was not really my main focus.  My trip to Oregon did not stop me from observing song birds while on the days that I was gone  I saw three Western meadowlark, a deer, and a lot of humming birds. Last week was a little out of place but I have hopes for better in the future.-Alejandro Ruelas
